# ❓ What is RampX?

RampX is a product that allows you to transfer quickly and safely the money from your bank and web3 to be used in your wallet. To understand the product, please read the Terms and Conditions.

# 👷 How does RampX work?

When RampX receives your FIAT money, it puts them in a segregated account and it transforms them in enhanced e-money. Enhanced e-money is an emoney that is interoperable and can work in different domains (including web3) and can be programmed and streamed. This form of money is also called esCurrency.

Since it's a solution based on e-money, your collateral is always available in a segregated account and it's not at risk. You can withdraw from the ramp anytime and get your money back. This form of money is more secure than any other form of stablecoins.

RampX is an interface that allows you to use products and services from third parties. Please refer to the Terms and conditions to fully understand the services you are using and the risks that may be involved.

# 📃 KYC? Why?

We offer regulated 📏 services, so you need to pass the KYC to became our client and use our service. The KYC should require just a few minutes. We may request further information from you accordingly to the amount of money that you are transacting through the ramp.

# What are the supported FIAT currencies?

We support several currencies. By default, after the KYC you will receive and EUR, USD and GBP wallet. To add anothe currency, just click on ADD BALANCE button in the main Dashboard. If you would like to use a currency or a network that is currently not supported, please send us an email.
